Landmark’s Development and Investment Platform

Athens, Ga. (April 16, 2025)Landmark Properties, a fully-integrated real estate investment management firm specializing in the development, construction, acquisition, and operation of high-quality residential communities, announces the final close on the Landmark Sponsor Fund, LP, which closed at $300mm, exceeding its initial $200mm target.

“This milestone reflects the confidence our partners have in Landmark’s vertically integrated platform and disciplined approach to development,” said Wes Rogers, Chairman and CEO of Landmark Properties. “The Sponsor Fund enhances our competitive position as the most active developer of student housing in the United States, allowing us to act quickly and decisively on compelling opportunities in order to deliver compelling risk-adjusted returns for both our joint venture partners and fund investors.”

The final close was held approximately seven months after the initial closing, with the fund comprising equity commitments from a diverse group of new and existing investors spanning institutional and private wealth clients, including insurance companies, pension funds, RIAs, and family offices.

The Sponsor Fund is designed to support Landmark’s merchant development strategy in the U.S. student housing sector and is expected to primarily co-invest alongside Landmark’s development joint ventures. The fund provides additional flexibility to support early-stage execution and accelerate development timelines, while complementing Landmark’s longstanding capital partnerships.

The Fund has already invested in several high-quality development projects across tier 1 markets and will continue to benefit from Landmark’s $10bn+ development pipeline.
