As Co-Founder and CEO of Landmark Properties, Wes has overseen the design, financing, development, and operations of more than $7.5 Billion worth of new construction student housing.  Wes is responsible for establishing and implementing Landmark¹s overall corporate strategy. He is very involved in the development and finance sides of the Company¹s business, but his hands on leadership style keeps him engaged in all aspects of the business.  With over $2 Billion of student housing currently under construction, Landmark has been consistently ranked the most active student housing developer and largest student housing general contractor in the country.

Wes, an Athens, GA native, obtained his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia in 1999 and his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from UGA in 2004. Upon graduating business school in 2004, he co-founded Landmark Properties. Wes was named the 2017 E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year for the Southeast US in the Real Estate Category.

Since 2003, James has been involved in the orchestration, design, development, construction, and management of over $4 Billion worth student housing projects across the country. As COO of Landmark Properties, James is responsible for all operational aspects associated with the company’s real estate portfolio. James has built a team of industry leading professionals and has helped guide Landmark Properties to the forefront of the student housing industry, where they consistently rank as the most active student housing developer and the largest student housing general contractor in the country.

An Athens, GA native, James graduated from the University of Georgia with a BLA in Land Planning with a focus on Urban Design. He began his career in real estate in 1999 and in May 2004 he co-founded Landmark Properties, Inc.

James was appointed by Governor Kemp to Co-Chair the Georgians First Commission, served as the Board Chairman of the Athens Boys and Girls Club and serves on the University of Georgia’s Student Affairs Advisory Board. He is an active real estate broker in GA, TN, and NC, a member of the Athens Area Homebuilders Association and Athens Chamber of Commerce. James lives in Athens with his wife Jessica, daughter, Britten, and son, Bronson.

Jason joined Landmark Properties in 2010 and is responsible for identifying development opportunities throughout the US in university markets. In this role, Jason is responsible for structuring acquisitions, overseeing the entitlement process, design and engineering of new developments, as well as working with Landmark's debt and equity partners to secure appropriate capital for development opportunities. Landmark's development pipeline is currently the largest of any student housing real estate developer in the US. Before joining Landmark, Jason was the Director of Finance for Place Properties. Prior to entering the student housing sector, Jason worked in the real estate finance sector as an Investment Officer at Merrill Lynch Capital and began his career as a Credit Analyst at Regions Bank.

Jason obtained his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia in 2000. He Serves on the board of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and is an elder at First Presbyterian Church of Athens. Jason and his wife, Andrea, live in Athens with their three daughters.

Art brings over 16 years of experience in real estate development, design and construction.  Prior to joining Landmark, he held various roles with Onward Investors, Eden Prairie, MN; Oppidan Investment Company, Excelsior, MN; Target Property Development, Minneapolis, MN; and the Opus Group, Irvine, CA.

Art studied Civil Engineering at Iowa State University.  He and his wife, Laura, live in Athens, GA and have three children: Leah (ten), John (seven) and Evan (five).

Andrew joined Landmark Properties in 2015 and his responsibilities include identifying suitable investment opportunities, underwriting key markets, working with land sellers, overseeing design development, managing financial underwriting, securing capital from debt and equity partners, managing entitlements and closing.

Prior to joining Landmark, Andrew worked for North American Properties on the acquisition and finance team and then the multifamily development team. During his tenure at North American Properties, Andrew was involved in all aspects of the investment cycle from site identification to disposition across retail, multifamily, and mixed use product types.

Andrew is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and obtained his B.B.A. in Real Estate from the University of Georgia. He lives in Athens with his wife Theresa and their children Ford and Margaux.

Eric joined Landmark Properties as a Development Manager in 2018. His primary responsibilities include assisting senior developers with identifying and underwriting investment opportunities, managing the development process, securing financing and ensuring delivery.

Prior to joining Landmark, Eric worked for Anthony Property Group in Raleigh, NC on acquisitions and development of conventional multifamily and light-industrial properties. Eric also has experience in the student housing sector with Corvias Campus Living.

Eric attended North Carolina State University graduating with a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Business Administration. He has an M.B.A. from UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School with concentrations in Real Estate and Corporate Finance.

In his free time Eric enjoys spending time in the outdoors, traveling, and cooking.

Aaron joined Landmark as a Development Manager in 2018 and as of 2021, is now a Director in our Student Housing group. His responsibilities include site sourcing, underwriting new opportunities, overseeing design development, securing equity and debt capital, managing entitlements and closing. He has successfully closed on more than $700 million in development opportunities across the country since joining Landmark.

Aaron previously worked for National Real Estate Development, the development arm of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers pension fund. During his time at National he worked on their "East Market" project, a $600 million 4 acre mixed use development in Center City, Philadelphia. Additionally, Aaron was also involved in the development and lease-up of "the Bloc", a $500 million mixed use development in downtown Los Angeles, CA. Aaron has also previously held positions as Director of Capital Markets at The Carlton Group in New York, and as a Director of a $4.2 billion mezzanine debt fund with the Blackstone Group in New York.

Aaron earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drexel University.

Mark served as the Managing Director of Investments with Inland America’s student housing affiliate and delivered 4,400+ beds ranging from wrap wood frame projects to a 20-story mixed-use urban development. Prior to that, Mark spent 11 years in the extended-stay hotel business and developed 22 projects in markets across the Southeast for an affiliate of Security Capital Group. Mark earned his MBA at Emory University, and his BS in Mathematics & Economics from Wake Forest University.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys running, playing golf, and spending time with his wife & two sons.

Rob joined Landmark as a Development Manager in 2019. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring that projects are successfully executed from inception through completion. As a Development Manager of Student Development, he is heavily involved in site selection, market analysis and financial underwriting as well as the sourcing of financing, assisting Senior Developers and managing the design and development process.

Prior to his time at Landmark, Rob was a Development Manager with Middleburg Real Estate Partners where he managed the ground-up development of Class-A multifamily assets throughout the Carolinas, Georgia and Tennessee. In addition to his work on ground up developments, he also oversaw the acquisition of a 1,000-unit value-add portfolio in Atlanta, Georgia.

Rob received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina and his Masters of Real Estate Development from Clemson University.

In his free time, Rob enjoys live music, college football and traveling.

Blair is a veteran of the multi-family industry, where he has spent the majority of his career in a variety of roles in development, asset management, and property management.  Notably, his prior experience includes six years as a developer with Landmark’s student housing platform where he was involved in many of the company’s pursuits, including The Standard at Athens, The Retreat at Corvallis, StoneFire at Berkeley, The Standard at Charlottesville, The Retreat at Harrisonburg, The Standard at Knoxville, and The Mark at Berkeley, among others.  He is also an experienced developer and former executive in the self-storage sector, both with a public REIT and an entrepreneurial, Atlanta-based developer.

Blair is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a BA in Political Science.  He lives in Marietta with his wife, Michele, and two children.  In his free time, he enjoys traveling, supporting his kids’ extra-curricular activities, and following politics.

David joined Landmark Properties in 2019 as a Developer of student housing. In 2020, David launched Landmark’s expansion into build-to-rent housing. In this role, David is responsible for developing the pipeline of BTR communities throughout the country.

Prior to Landmark, David spent 13 years with a boutique developer and general contractor focused on the development of multifamily, mixed-use, townhome, and retail properties in the Southeast.

David obtained a B.S. in Finance from Clemson University.  He lives in Atlanta with his wife Val and their dog Jeffrey.  In his spare time, David enjoys traveling and hiking.

Prior to joining the Landmark Team in 2015, Kyle served as Manager of Construction and Development at Ventas, Inc. where he led project management efforts on over $50 million in capital expenditures, development, and redevelopment projects. Additionally, Kyle completed over $300 million in high-rise, multi-family residential construction in Chicago while serving in various roles for Lend Lease, Inc.

During his career, Kyle has managed a number of facets of the development and construction lifecycle including underwriting, preconstruction, project management, procurement, scheduling, quality control, safety, project closeout, and asset management.

A 2007 graduate of Northwestern University where he played on the Varsity Men's Soccer team, Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Kyle also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with majors in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Kyle is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois and a LEED AP BD&C Accredited Professional.

During his free time, Kyle enjoys golf, soccer, outdoor activities, and spending time with his wife and kids. He and his wife, Georgia Anne, have four children: Suzanna Grace (6), Carolina James (4), Mac (2), and Georgia Claire (1).

Doug joined the Landmark team in 2020 as Director of 3rd Party Construction Management. Doug previously served as Program Director on a $1.2 billion K-12 Bond Program and a $470 million K-12 Bond Program in the Dallas Texas area. He brings over 30 years of experience in overseeing and managing Telecommunication, Environmental, Education and Government construction projects. Doug and his wife Janene have raised three girls and are now enjoying the benefits that come with being grandparents. During his free time Doug enjoys watching Texas Tech athletics, golfing, reading and attending the NCAA Basketball tournament each March.

Prior to joining Landmark, Jason Murray was the General Manager for Stephens MDS/Stephens Industries in College Park. Stephens is a Construction Aggregate Producer and Recycling Facility serving the Downtown Atlanta/South Metro markets. Before taking the position at Stephens, Jason owned a construction business, performing as a subcontractor in the Heavy Civil/Foundation Improvement markets in the public and private sectors. Outside of work, he currently coaches youth football at Prince Avenue Christian School. He and his wife Sandy have two sons and live in Monroe, GA.

Heath joined Landmark Construction in 2007 as the Lead Manager on The Station, a 48 home residential project in Athens, GA. He later went on to manage The Retreat Columbia and The Retreat Knoxville projects. Heath now serves in the role of Director of Urban Preconstruction with daily hands-on interaction with Project Superintendents, Suppliers, and Subcontractors. His primary responsibilities include scheduling, contracting, procurement, and project logistics.

Heath obtained his BBA in Business Management from UGA in 2004. Prior to joining Landmark, Heath developed and built several high-end residential homes in Athens, GA.

Heath resides in Athens with wife Sara.

Rob joined Landmark Properties in 2015 as Financial Analyst for Cottage Construction. He is responsible for tracking all financial items related to past, present, and future cottage construction developments and contributing analysis to inform the firm's investment and financial management decisions.

Prior to joining Landmark, Rob was a Senior Accountant at North American Properties in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was responsible for the operations accounting of the multi-family property portfolio, including budgeting, consolidations, and fair market value reporting. Before entering the real estate industry, Rob started his career in public accounting at KPMG, LLP, as an external auditor.

Rob is a native of Northern Kentucky and graduated from the University of Louisville where he received his degree in Accounting. Rob lives in Athens with his girlfriend, Maggie, and they enjoy hiking, boating, playing recreational sports, and listening to live music.

Donna Hagerott joined Landmark Construction in 2015. Prior to Landmark she was Director of Preconstruction with Mill Creek Residential. She brings over 20 years of experience in multifamily residential development to the Landmark team. Her experience includes ten years as Project Architect responsible for all phases of design and construction documents, four years as developer responsible for land acquisition and entitlements and the remaining in the construction division managing the project professionals, permitting and execution. Donna earned her Bachelor of Architecture at New York Institute of Technology. She is a LEED Accredited Professional. Donna served on the Board of Directors for the USGBC South Florida Chapter and was a regular volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of Broward in addition to serving on Habitat's construction committee. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, volunteering and spending time with her husband Sean and their two daughters.

Walt Templin Head of Investment Management

Walt joined Landmark in 2014 as Head of Portfolio Management. His responsibilities include forming and implementing portfolio strategies, overseeing asset management and acquisition activities as well as developing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors.

Prior to joining Landmark, Walt was a Senior Vice President at Blue Vista Capital Management, LLC, an investment management firm based in Chicago, IL that invests in all real property types across the U.S. During his more than 8 years with Blue Vista, Walt was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring and closing transactions for Blue Vista's various funds. He was involved in over $1 billion of student housing related transactions while helping expand Blue Vista's relationships with lenders and investors in the sector. Walt started his career as a corporate and investment banking analyst at Bank of America Securities, LLC.

Walt received a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University where he majored in Industrial Engineering and Economics.

JD joined Landmark in 2019 as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions. His responsibilities include leading Landmark’s acquisition efforts in university markets throughout the US. JD’s responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating acquisition opportunities, structuring joint ventures and closing on investments for the firm.

Prior to joining Landmark, Mr. Goering was Vice President with Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, a real estate investment management firm based in Chicago. During his time at Harrison Street Mr. Goering worked on acquiring and forming joint venture relationships within the student housing sector including the $2B take private of a student housing REIT. Prior to joining Harrison Street in 2015, JD worked at Blue Vista Capital Management, LLC from 2007 to 2014 where he worked on deploying capital into student housing acquisitions and developments.

Mr. Goering graduated with a B.A. from Miami University in 2003 and currently lives in Chicago with his wife and 3 children.

Porter joined Landmark in 2018 as Vice President. His primary responsibilities include executing on debt and equity financing activities, managing portfolio capital transactions, and developing and maintaining relationships with lenders and investors.

Prior to joining Landmark, Porter was a Vice President at CBRE Capital markets where he was focused on debt and equity assignments for institutional clients. Before CBRE, Porter as an Associate at Jamestown, LP where he was primarily focused on asset management.

Porter received a BS from Vanderbilt University.

Gisela Prudden Director — Asset Management

Gisela joined Landmark Properties in 2015. Currently, as Director of Asset Management, she oversees Landmark’s portfolio of owned assets, with responsibilities across the full life cycle of deals from lease up and stabilization through refinancing, recapitalization, and disposition. She is responsible for investment return analysis and projections of assets under management.

Prior to joining Landmark, Gisela worked in the corporate finance team for the largest telecom firm in Paraguay, South America, Tigo Millicom Group. She also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers Paraguay as an external auditor.

As a Fulbright scholar, Gisela earned her MBA in Finance at the University of Georgia in 2012. She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Bachelor in Accounting from the Catholic University of Asuncion, Paraguay.

Mitchell Snyder Vice President — Asset Management

A native of Georgia, Mitchell grew up in Dalton before enrolling at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. Prior to graduating, he began his real estate career at HFF (now JLL) as an investment sales intern. Upon graduating in 2012, Mitchell worked as a product specialist at CoStar Group in Washington DC before taking a position with Cushman & Wakefield’s metropolitan New York capital market’s team as an investment sales analyst. While there, he coordinated over $300 million in commercial transactions.

Following his time at Cushman & Wakefield, Mitchell went on to become an asset manager for Onyx Equities, a value-add investment fund focusing on office, retail, and multifamily real estate throughout metro New York City. While at Onyx, he oversaw the business plan of repositioning suburban office investments as well as the development of multifamily projects. As an asset manager, Mitchell consistently maintained a portfolio in excess of $500 million and led numerous dispositions, recapitalizations, and refinancings.

Mitchell is excited to continue his real estate career in Athens and grow his expertise into the student housing market. When Mitchell is not in the office, you’ll find him training for his next Ironman, cooking, playing guitar, or planning his next trip abroad.

Jeff Carter Vice President — Retail Asset Management

Jeff served as Development Manager at Loudermilk Companies located in Atlanta, GA focusing on the development of residential condominiums in Midtown and Buckhead. While at Loudermilk Companies, he managed the development of a 20-unit luxury condominium mixed-use development in the heart of Midtown. He most recently helped manage the pre-sales marketing campaign and architectural design of a 57-unit luxury condominium mixed-use development in the heart of Buckhead. Before his shift to the development side of the company, he managed the leasing and operations of the Loudermilk Companies' portfolio of office and retail as well as a heavy involvement with the company's parking operations arm. Prior to his focus in development and asset management he worked in the accounting side of Loudermilk Companies as the controller.

Jeff received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia State University. He enjoys spending his spare time outdoors with his family and the weekly family movie night.

Joel Gregory joined Landmark Properties in 2010 and now serves as CFO for the company. After obtaining a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Georgia, Joel has worked in public accounting, founded a beverage distributorship where he was co-owner and CFO, assisted in the start-up of an IT company as V.P. of Finance, served as CFO of a commercial construction company and served as Controller as well as V.P. of Sales & Marketing of a mid-sized residential builder.
Joel has served on the board of a local Chamber of commerce as well as the board of directors for multiple builder associations.

Tyler Goff Vice President — Risk Management

Tyler joined Landmark Properties in 2015 as Vice President of Risk Management. He is responsible for overseeing the corporate insurance program and requirements for the Landmark family of companies. Previously Tyler worked for Equity Residential, in Chicago and before that The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio, in Columbus, Ohio. Tyler has been in risk management for over 20 years.

Tyler holds a bachelor degree in Risk Management from The Ohio State University, a law degree from Capital University.

Tyler and his wife, Jenny, live in Statham with their dog, Maddie. They enjoy cheering for their favorite sports teams, Tyler The Ohio State Buckeyes and Jenny the Chicago Cubs and Bears.

Jordan is a Georgia native who calls Oconee County his home. He attended Southern Polytechnic State University where he received his bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has over 10 years’ experience in the property management field ranging from residential leasing, commercial management and accounting.

Jordan joined the Landmark team in 2015 and is now an Accounting Supervisor overseeing a team of accountants. He is responsible for reviewing financials for accuracy and ensuring timely reporting to our various ownership groups.

In his free time he enjoys gaming, watching movies, playing golf and spending time with his Wife and their two cats.

Jenny joined the Landmark Construction team in 2015. Before joining Landmark Construction, Jenny worked as the Accounting Manager for a property management company in Athens, GA for nine years. Her professional background includes accounting, management, customer service and banking. Originally from the Atlanta area, she has found home in the Statham area with her husband and son. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys spending time with her family and friends and reading a variety of book genres.

Sheila heads up the accounting team at Landmark Properties. A native of Moultrie, Georgia, her family has been involved in construction and development there for many years. Sheila attended the University of Montevallo, and graduated with a degree in Music Education. She taught Choral Music in public schools for 10 years before entering the business world.

Prior to joining the Landmark team in 2008, Sheila worked productively as a cost accountant for several builders and developers in the North Georgia area. She began working with Landmark Properties as a contract worker until the principals decided they needed her expertise in-house, readily available to them and their investors. Sheila proactively works with property owners during their purchase and remains on a first-name basis with them once they start receiving their monthly disbursement checks. She is an active supporter of North Oconee High School, where her daughter, Mary Catherine, attends.

Sandy Murray started with Landmark Properties in 2014 and brings over 18 years of accounting experience to the team. She began her career in Atlanta as a Project Manager for a Fortune 500 company. Working her way up, her eventual responsibility was programmer analyst, which included work in accounting, administration, computer systems and business services.

For the last 10 years, Sandy worked in the construction industry where she was the Vice President of BridgeCreek Construction, Inc. Some of her responsibilities included the preparation of financial statements, operating budgets, account reconciliation and monthly reporting.

Sandy was a member of The Monroe Junior Service League. She is currently a member of First Baptist Church of Monroe and has served on several mission teams. Sandy currently resides in Good Hope with her husband, Jason and her two boys, Cade and Reid.

Joining the Construction Accounting Department in August of 2011, Susanne served as an Account Manager for two years and advanced into the role of Assistant Controller. Her main responsibilities are to audit and oversee the monthly draw process for our current projects as well as communicate with bank representatives, outside auditor and our investment partner to assure that draw packages are submitted within their guidelines and funding is received accurately and in a timely manner. Susanne is also responsible for the pre-development thru closing accounting as well as set up of new projects and assisting the CFO with cash flow and monthly financial reports.

Susanne, born and raised in a small town in Sweden, graduated with a degree in Economics/Accounting and moved to The United States and became a citizen. Susanne began her career in the collections department of a large health insurance company in Connecticut and moved to Georgia in 1991 where she has many years of experience heading up the accounting department of a Swedish company in Norcross. In 2004 Susanne and her family moved to Athens where she accepted a position as Office/Accounting Manager for a Residential/Commercial Builder and Property Manager.

Susanne resides with her husband Jeff, they have 4 wonderful children, a dog and horses.

After graduating from NGCSU, Andrew spent 8 years working for his family's business managing national sales. For the last 9 or so years, he's worked in accounting. He spent almost 7 years at InterCall/West Corp - the world's largest provider of teleconferencing technology - in a number of accounting positions but specialized in telecommunication taxation and tax audits in the US and Canada.

He spent the last year at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA, mainly preparing consolidated financial reports and statutory reporting to HUD. He and his wife (married 14 years this April!!) have now relocated to Bishop, GA with their 2 children, Juliana and John Hunter, and are excited for their new adventure! Andrew and his family love to camp, hike, sail, and really anything outdoors!

Chris joined Landmark in 2015 as General Counsel, where he oversees all legal matters, activities, and relationships.

Prior to joining Landmark, Chris practiced with McKenna Long & Aldridge, LLP and Baker & Hostetler, LLP. While at McKenna and Baker, Chris represented Landmark, major national banks, multi-campus health systems, private equity funds and other clients in a broad array of complex commercial real estate transactions. His experience includes acquisitions, financings (construction financing, REIT financing, conduit lending and loan assumptions and modifications), lease transactions, and dispositions.

Chris received his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. Chris is a member in good standing with the Georgia Bar.

Katie, born and raised in a small town in southwest Georgia, moved to Athens to become an official Georgia Bulldog in 2002. She first joined Landmark Properties in May 2006 as a leasing intern. After graduating from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business in 2006, with a degree in Real Estate, Katie was offered a full-time position as Sales Associate.

As a Sales Associate at Landmark, Katie was in charge of communicating with and assisting prospective buyers, as well as scheduling and coordinating closings. She acted as a liaison between Landmark and all investors by communicating with them on any upcoming projects. Katie was also especially active in the setup and maintenance of Landmark's expansion into Columbia, South Carolina and Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

In 2017, Katie received a Masters in Information Technology from UGA after working several years on Landmark’s technology-related projects. She now serves as Landmark's Vice President of Student Housing Technologies. In her current role, Katie handles all technology initiatives for Landmark including telecommunications, business intelligence and managing third party IT relationships. Katie lives in Athens with her husband, Harley, and their perfect six month old daughter, Ella.

Aaron joined Landmark in 2018 as Director of Information Systems.  Prior to joining Landmark, Aaron was a Network Administrator at Connected Technologies.  There he was responsible with assisting Landmark, and other clients, with their technology needs.

Aaron has worked various I.T. roles in the student housing industry for over 10 years, from initial construction to day-to-day desktop, server, and network support.

Aaron is responsible for the continued maintenance, development, and expansion of Landmark's technology enterprise; its corporate office, branch offices, and construction sites.

Emily has been a member of Landmark Properties since 2007. During her time with Landmark, Emily has served in varying roles both on site and at the corporate level. Ultimately finding her niche in human resources, she now holds the position of Associate Vice President of Human Resources and is a Senior Certified Professional through the Society of Human Resource Management. In this role, Emily’s main objective is to provide staff with the necessary tools to succeed in their positions. This includes developing and overseeing specialized training programs, talent acquisitions, employee relations, and payroll and benefits. As part of her role, she is also responsible for improving employee engagement and enriching the company’s culture through her partnership with FranklinCovey and her credentials as a facilitator of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Four Disciplines of Execution. Identifying and encouraging new talent is a passion of Emily’s and one she gets to pursue regularly through her part-time professorship with the Residential Property Management program at UGA and her position on the UGA RPM Advisory Board.

Emily, originally from south Georgia, moved to Athens to attend the University of Georgia where she graduated with her BA in English and Master’s of Education in Learning, Leadership, and Organizational Development. Emily still resides in Athens with her husband Geoff, son Owen, and dogs Stella and Ripley.

Erin brings over a decade of experience in the construction industry, having worked in Troutman Sanders LLP’s construction section since 2009. While at Troutman Sanders, Erin’s practice focused primarily on the prosecution and defense of construction claims in court or before arbitration panels and the negotiation and drafting of construction contracts and associated documents. Erin has represented nationally and world-prominent construction clients, including owners, contractors and subcontractors, design professionals, architects, and material suppliers in matters involving high rise office buildings and apartments, utility and infrastructure construction, power plants, manufacturing and processing plants, and other complex projects.

Erin received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. She lives with her husband, Ryan, and daughter, Quinn, in Atlanta.

Amanda Henningsen received her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2013, where she was a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law (2010-2013), a Dean's Ambassador (2010-2013), Student Bar Association Representative (2010-2011) and Vice President of the Law Republicans (2012-2013). She received both her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, and her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in English, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and the University of Georgia Competitive Cheerleading Team.

Prior to joining Landmark, Amanda practiced with Mahaffey Pickens Tucker, LLP, where she regularly represented clients in a wide variety of general corporate and commercial transactions. Amanda also focused her practice onrepresenting buyers, sellers and lenders in the acquisition, financing and disposition of commercial real estate, including retail, multi-family, office and industrial properties.

Jonathan serves as the Executive Vice President of Management Services for Landmark Properties. With 20 years of experience in student housing and college student services, He serves as the liaison for both new third-party clients and Landmark acquisitions as they join the Landmark-managed portfolio. He also provides coordination and oversight of Landmark's consulting services. His experience includes numerous institutional-grade studies for clients which spanned operational assessment, market assessment, feasibility analysis, and due diligence for acquisitions.

Jonathan began his career in on-campus residence life, and then spent 8 years working in operations, consulting and business development roles with expanding responsibility at Campus Advantage, Inc. In 2014, Jonathan was the on-site project manager for a six-month engagement at Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, Russia, coordinating efforts to launch or improve residence life, student services, dormitory management and campus branding. Before being promoted to grow business development and consulting efforts, He served as National Director of Residence Life, training student staff, transitioning new properties and developing management systems for operations. He currently oversees Landmark’s Residence Life and Customer Service platform.

Jonathan holds a M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont. He completed his undergraduate studies in communication at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He's an avid reader, cook, and Peloton rider. He resides in Austin, Texas along his wife Anna, a senior PR professional focused on the Technology sector and their two daughters Hollis and Willa.

Rob joined Landmark in fall of 2012 and jointly oversees Landmark’s property operations with a focus on marketing and leasing oversight. Under his leadership Landmark has stabilized over 35 new development lease-ups and the Landmark portfolio has grown from ~7,000 beds under management in 2012 to over 45,000 beds under management in 2021.

Prior to his time with Landmark, Rob started working in the off-campus student housing sector with American Campus Communities. After working in on-site property operations based in Athens Georgia, Rob became a Director of Strategic Marketing and, later, a Director of Digital Marketing providing leasing and marketing support across the American Campus portfolio.

Rob is a native of Monroe, Georgia and received a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Georgia. Rob serves as Board Chairman for the Clarke County Mentor Program and is an active mentor in the Athens community. In his free time, Rob enjoys traveling with his wife, Lauren, and two children, Hudson and Waverly.

He ensures that the fundamental objectives of the facilities department are met, acts as administrator for Landmark capital improvement projects, and is also instrumental in the transition of sites from construction to operational status. Daniel has worked in the housing industry for over 18 years including a 7-year span with American Campus Communities. He holds a BS from the University of Georgia bringing a broad range of sought-after technical knowledge and skills with management experience to the Landmark team.

Nicole serves as the Associate Vice President of Acquisition Services for Landmark Properties.

Nicole is principal author of third-party consulting studies and in charge of new consulting business. Nicole also assists in third-party business development efforts and providing on-site support for new communities entering the third-party managed portfolio, assisting site level staff in joining the Landmark team, and implementing Landmark's best practices at the site. Nicole's experience includes high quality studies for owners and clients which includes market assessments, feasibility analyses and due diligence for acquisitions.

Nicole's experience in student housing began right out of college where she started out as a receptionist at Campus Advantage. Throughout the years, Nicole's eagerness to learn and grow within the student housing industry lead to her joining the Consulting department as a Market Analyst where she assisted with market analysis and feasibility studies, due diligence reports and operational assessments. Most recently, Nicole worked at Coastal Ridge Real Estate as a Market Research Analyst where she was in charge of producing a complete due diligence report that provided information on the market, a full inspection and overview of the property, potential improvements, as well as a full analysis of the lease files.

Nicole graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and two dogs.

Becky began her career in student housing in 2007, as a Leasing Assistant with Landmark Properties. Becky has since risen up the ranks in varying roles both on site and at the corporate level.

Adam began his career in student housing during 2006 as a Community Assistant while attending The University of Tennessee. During his last semester at UT, he joined Landmark in 2010 as a CA for The Retreat at Knoxville. Upon receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Adam transitioned to a full-time position as The Retreat's Leasing & Marketing Manager. Adam eventually moved to Operations Manager, then Community Manager at The Retreat.

Adam began working with new lease-ups during the fall of 2013 at Landmark's first urban infill project, The Standard Athens. Since then, Adam has been the Sales & Marketing Manager for The Standard St. Louis, The Standard Knoxville, and The Mark Athens. Now based out of the corporate office in Athens, Adam continues to work with Landmark's new construction projects as a Associate Vice President of Marketing.

While earning her Bachelor's degree in Public Relations at UGA, Rachael served as a Leasing Ambassador at Landmark's Athens site for three years. Because of her communication skills and performance in the field, she was promoted to Marketing Assistant at Landmark's corporate office while she completed her Masters in Journalism at UGA. She gained direct marketing and advertising experience in this role by supporting the Marketing Director and Marketing Coordinator with facilitating portfolio-wide marketing campaigns and providing individual support to site managers. After completing her Master's program, Rachael joined Crawford Media Services as Marketing Coordinator, helping out with any marketing needs, advertising, event coordination, and client services for the company.

In January 2014, Rachael returned to Landmark Properties as Marketing Coordinator and, over time, moved up to Creative Director. As Creative Directorfor Landmark, she primarily handles all of the marketingneeds for new development and current operating sites. These needs range from logo design and new website development to marketing strategies and artwork implementation.

Rachael is excited to be in Athens and enjoys traveling, attending local music events, and spending time with friends and family in her free time.

As Associate Vice President of Acquisition Services, John's primary responsibility is the intentional growth of Landmark's third-party management platform and additional client services. In addition to third-party business development efforts, John is actively involved in Landmark's consulting platform and has completed numerous institutional-grade studies for clients which include market assessment, feasibility analysis, and due diligence for acquisitions.

John began his student housing career while attending the University of South Carolina. As a part-time student employee, he worked as a leasing consultant and on the maintenance team. Since graduating, his professional experiences include all on-site managerial positions for operational and new lease-up developments in eight different collegiate markets. These on-site experiences coupled with extensive consulting and business development experience provides an intimate understanding of what owners and investors want from their management partners.

John graduated from the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of business with a double major in Management and Real Estate. John is based in Austin, TX where he enjoys golfing and eating barbecue and breakfast tacos as much as possible.

Nick brings nearly 20 years of student housing experience to his role as Regional Vice President (Operations) with Landmark Properties. Prior to joining Landmark, Nick worked for American Campus Communities for 9+ years where he held various positions ranging from Community Assistant to Regional Manager. Nick was one of the first graduates of ACC's annual "Inside Track" future managers program and also served as a mentor for the program later in his career. In 2010, Nick left ACC to pursue career opportunities with Denver based Cardinal Group Management and had direct supervision over their Atlanta based Westmar Student Lofts project. This project won the 2012 Student Housing Business Awards for Best Turnaround and Best Marketing / Lease Up. Nick also spent two years of his career working as a Regional Operations Manager for Aspen Heights where he had oversight of their entire East Coast portfolio. Nick joined Landmark in May of 2014 as a Regional Director and transitioned into his current role in 2018. Nick currently oversees the collective operations of half of Landmark’s management portfolio.

Nick and his wife Katherine reside in Bishop, GA with their 2 sons (Lachlan & Cohen) and daughter (Maclaren). Nick is also a graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned his degree in Housing and Economics in 2003 and he also graduated from Mercer University in 2007 with a Master's of Business Administration degree in Management. Nick and his family love spending time outdoors and they greatly enjoy Fall Saturdays in Athens, GA when the Bulldogs take the field.

Sara has been in the property management industry for the past 14 years, with a 10-year focus in student housing. Prior to joining Landmark, Sara worked for Campus Crest Group in various position ranging from new construction General Manager to Regional Manager. Sara spent two years of her career working for regional 3rd party management companies implementing their student housing programs.

Sara holds a CAPs designation through NAA. She is skilled in student housing program development, marketing & leasing, operations and budgeting/financials. She has experience with new construction and renovation lease-ups, as well as managing stable and distressed properties. Sara has managed properties nationwide.

In 2008, Sara received her Bachelors of Science degree in Interior Design with a minor in Marketing from Ball State University, and subsequently in 2009 completed a Master's of Arts in Residential Property Management. Sara resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana with her husband James and two sons Finn and Remington.

Janelle graduated from Mississippi State University in 2013, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, emphasizing in Marketing, Management & Finance. Upon graduation, Janelle accepted a full-time Leasing & Marketing Manager role in Oxford, MS. Since starting in the Student Housing industry, Janelle has worked in 4 different markets, beginning in 2011 as a Junior in college. She found then that Student Housing provided her with the fast paced, energetic environment that she craved, in addition to providing a stable career path and future growth! Janelle joined the Landmark Properties Corporate team in 2017 as a Marketing & Leasing Specialist. As she continued to grow with the company, Janelle accepted the role as Regional Leasing & Marketing Manager in April of 2018.

As a Regional Vice President of Leasing, Janelle provides onsite & remote support in all Leasing & Marketing efforts, to her Florida Region. Janelle’s portfolio is made up of the Orlando, Tampa, Gainesville & Tallahassee markets.

In Janelle's spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and 3 dogs. She also enjoys completing DIY projects, travelling to new and familiar locations and trying new foods!

Vanessa Young joined the Landmark Team as a Leasing Ambassador at The Retreat Columbia in 2009. She loved living at The Retreat during her time as a student at The University of South Carolina, but loved working there even more, and quickly realized that student housing was the career path for her! Upon graduation, where she received a degree in Political Science with a minor in Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism Management, Vanessa accepted the role of Leasing and Marketing Manager. Even though she fell in love with The Retreat Columbia, and being in the midst of her fellow Gamecock nation, she decided to make the move to Corvallis, Oregon in 2014 to take on the role of Sales and Marketing Manager at The Retreat at Corvallis. After rounding out a full year in Corvallis, she was given the opportunity to take on her dream role as a traveling Leasing and Marketing Specialist for Landmark Properties in 2015. She was later promoted to the Regional Leasing and Marketing Manager position in the Fall of 2016 and most recently was promoted to a Regional Vice President of Leasing in October of 2018. Vanessa brings nearly 12 years’ experience exclusively with Landmark. As a Regional Vice President of Leasing, she will be responsible for ensuring her portfolio is optimally leased by leading an existing best-in-class group of individuals.

Vanessa and her husband Kevin now reside in Athens, GA with their son, Krew, and daughter, Palmer. Their two sweet dog children, Harlow the GSP and Birdie the Boykin Spaniel. In her spare time, she loves traveling with her family, watching SEC football, and trips to the coast.
